Band practices will resume on Monday 9th January.  We are still recruiting experienced players for the grade 4 band and also learners who are under 18 for the new Novice Juvenile pipe band.

Inverkeithing Pipe Band to compete for first time in three years!

The Royal Burgh of Inverkeithing Pipe Band will this weekend (Sunday 24th July) compete in its first pipe band competition in over three years.

The band will join Fife Constabulary, Dunfermline District & Scottish Transport Regiment, Glenrothes & District and Methil & District to play in the one-day competition which takes place on the 24th July at the Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh.

The 20-strong Royal Burgh of Inverkeithing band, led by Pipe Major Wilma Graham will compete in the Grade Four...

ALL BLACKS!

November 23, 2010

THE mighty All Blacks have been given a lesson for once - after West Fife musicians showed them how to play some of Scotland’s favourite tunes on the bagpipes.

It was a day to remember in particular for 13-year-old piper Scott Young from Dunfermline, who was able to show some of the world’s top rugby stars a thing or two ahead of Saturday’s clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.
